I started using Native Shampoo, the first thing that was immediately noticeable was how soft it was. It felt like I was using soft water (this is probably due to the amount of salt used in Native's formulation). I don't use conditioner and/or conditioning hair masks that often (maybe twice a month) to begin with, but I found that my hair became so soft.
